Revenue Strategy III (Strategic Advisory) - Entertainment, RMG

The Revenue Strategy group performs our analyses, makes insightful recommendations, designs solutions, develops products, and implements strategies that address complex business issues to achieve our goals. As Revenue Strategist III, you will report to the Senior Manager of the Riot Music Group (''RMG'') team.You will provide go-to-market/monetization strategies and secure partnerships with artists, labels, music publishers, and other music partners. You will bring deep music industry experience to help inform our overall music strategy and work with other members of the Entertainment group to incorporate music into multi-product launches and cross-Riot programs. You will also be a music industry expert supporting our strategy and the unique partnership negotiations that arise from it.

Responsibilities:
• Shape RMG's label and music publishing strategy; ensure that implementation and operations are aligned with Riot Entertainment's operating systems
• Maintain deals with Music Artists, Record Labels, Music Publishers, Music Distributor (FUGA)
• Partner with Strategic Finance to maintain workflows with core operating partners (Finance, AP, Legal)
• Develop product and initiative-level strategies that support the commercialization of RMG
• Work with Operations and Strategic Advisory leadership to implement greenlight process that includes objective-setting, product requirements for monetization, risk-reward framework
• Build comprehensive financial models forecasting revenue and cost projections for development programs
• Partner with teams to improve our monetization strategies around music content
• Integrate with Riot Ent Strategic Advisory team to understand non-music Revenue Strategy goals and best practices and to share/refine RMG approach
• Ensure Riot Music Group strategy is cohesively integrated into broader Entertainment strategy

Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of strategy and monetization experience in the music industry
• Deep knowledge of music industry business
• Experience driving on and managing deals with record labels and artists
• Experience working with data analysis or partnering with other primary contributors (e.g. analysts, data scientists) to achieve meaningful product insights
• Familiar with the full spectrum of business considerations (e.g. technical implementation, brand perception)
• Bachelor's Degree

Desired Qualifications:
• Experience in ecommerce, consulting, or strategy for consumer-facing products
• MBA or advanced degrees in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Management Information Systems or comparable work experiences
