As the Riot Communications Manager, you will be responsible for creating and executing our country channel strategies, and work closely with the local publishing team to ensure our games continue to resonate with our players - whether communicating through influencer partnerships, social media, community events, or other earned and owned channels.

You will work across our game and esports portfolio, collaborating closely with the brand manager and influencer manager in the team to promote content and campaigns across different platforms and channels.

You will participate in a community of practice around player communications and community, ensuring we're all pushing in the same direction and working from the same playbook when we talk to players.

Responsibilities:
• Execute the Communications strategy that will guide influencer partnerships, social media, community events, our game clients, or other earned and owned channels, ensuring its consistency with global strategy while supporting the expansion of our games in Philippines
• Work closely with Singapore Hub team, and the rest of local Publishing team to drive integrated communication across all our games, at the same time championing the cultural needs for Philippines
• Provide local Country Managers with strategic communications counsel, particularly in the event of emergent crisis or thought leadership opportunities, working alongside the Singapore
• Hub to align on any global or regional communications messaging
• Grow and amplify unique country initiatives alongside the Brand Manager and Influencer Manager to deliver player value
• Align on communications goals and success metrics for campaigns. Enhance the team's collective knowledge of campaign performance, future audience and landscape
• Build comprehensive social media strategy across multi-social media networks by supporting ATL execution and driving positive engagement
• Grow awareness for and reinforce the legitimacy of all Riot Games like League of Legends, VALORANT, Wild Rift, and Teamfight Tactics.
• Working with Insights team - identify, assess and share earned and owned channel opportunities for our game titles
• Identify and report on digital/social media trends, tactics, and technologies while developing strategic recommendations that inform communication programs
• To collaborate with Hub marketing communications team to align on overall vision and direction
• Promote and cultivate the internal Riot culture and promote high morale to achieve desired productivity through good working relationships, respect of authority, proactive attitude, and a safe workplace environment
• Provide editorial support across all player-facing communications materials as needed, be it for influencer engagement or social content copywriting
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
• Experienced: you have 5+ years of related experience, preferably at full service advertising, communications or creative content agency/company
• Gaming & entertainment market knowledge: you have deep empathy and insights for the wants and needs of the next generation of audiences entering the market
• Bilingual (English and Tagalog speaker): you are fluent in English and Tagalog , have excellent verbal and written chops for both languages, with strong native cultural understanding cultures
• A Communications dynamo: you are experienced in implementing successful communications campaigns with passionate audiences
• A Player Engager: you're a gamer by heart and identify with the audience, that's why you're great at hooking player attention and keeping them enthused for more of Riot Games in the Philippines
• A Thoughtful Problem Solver: whether out in the community or in a meeting room, you enjoy the challenges of complex real world player pain points and use your marketing skills and social media knowledge in identifying the most elegant if not witty solution to solve them
• Collaborative: you know not to dive in solo against your challenges, and that involving team members and working smart in a cross matrix organization will help you leverage obstacles and help you scale far beyond the limits of a single person
• Open-minded: You enjoy brainstorming improvement ideas and encourage discussion of alternative and unconventional approaches

Desired Qualifications:
• Live event experience. Familiarity with esports is a plus
• Community management experience
• Participated in a game launch or major campaign
• Exposure to non-gaming entertainment marketing
• Knowledge and perspective on the global streamer community and ecosystem
