Procurement Operations Specialist

Job Description

We are hiring for a Procurement Operations Specialist position based in our Dublin office who will report into our S2P Manager.As a Buyer for Riot, you will partner with the business to research , evaluate and buy goods and services to meet our daily operational needs. You will support our craftowners with Purchase order creation , procurement admin and adhering to process and budgets so that together as a team we can achieve the best player experience in the world.

Responsibilities
• You will thoroughly review and create Purchase Orders for multiple types of spend in Iprocurement system
• Proactively monitor open POs and address all potential issues ,un-invoiced amounts , etc
• You are the Champion of the Procurement Process and work consistently to educate and inform the business on the how and whys of procurement and buying.
• Assist with the Vendor Selection/Management process
• Manage the Tactical Procurement activity for specific spend
• Support the Finance Team for any ad-hoc specific requirements related to Procurement
• Provide assistance to the craft teams in making the right purchase, at the right time and for the right price
• Act as key point of contact for Tactical Procurement process development initiatives
• Build strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Participate in special projects as needed, which include, but are not limited to: evaluating current processes, assisting with system testing, facilitating cross-training exercises,etc.

Required Skills:
• A minimum of at least 2-4 years experience in an Buyer / Procurement Operations Specialist role
• Ability to take initiative and exercise good business judgment
• Knowledge of procurement systems and processes
• Good understanding of Financial forecasting, budgeting and operating expenses
• Experience in a multinational environment.
• Excellent Communication Skills and able to build strong Supplier relationships.

Desired Skills:
• Project management experience
• Oracle experience preferred
• Knowledge of G-Suite is helpful
