Gameplay Software Engineer

• Build and maintain gameplay systems in C/C++.
• Work closely with the design and content teams to build world class AI characters and interactions for Apex Legends.
• Contribute to AI infrastructure/technology and be the leader of AI Engineering on Apex.
• Proactively identify and deal with issues.
• Work on a game with fast, responsive controls, and fluid gameplay.
• Passion for making and playing games.
• Solid C/C++ skills. 2+ years of experience.
• At least 1 shipped title working as an AI engineer or working on AI systems.
• Excellent math skills with an emphasis on 3D math.
• Experience with large code bases and optimizing code, data, and bandwidth to improve both memory consumption and execution speed.
• Console programming experience on a multiplayer game.
Nice to Have
• CS or Comp Eng degree preferred.
• Networking experience
• Shipped at least one AAA title
• Prior professional experience as an engineer on a game team.
