Job Description
As a Publicity Coordinator you will be a results-oriented, quick thinking, enthusiastic individual. You will be a strong multi-tasker who is able to develop rapport with internal and external contacts. You'll have an assertive approach to setting up calls and meetings, strong writing skills, sharp creative instincts and a desire to grow and learn in the field of publicity.

What you'll do:
• Handle all administrative duties for SVP, Publicity (department head)
• Support department head & other senior publicists on various artists press campaigns including; connecting and scheduling interviews, clippings, TV advancing, quote sheets, maintaining press materials, etc.
• Support publicity team by covering artists at LA events/concerts/press days
• Assist with Grammy Submissions as well as other awards shows (ClioMusic Awards and more)
• Coordinate all details for award shows and create rundowns (Grammys, AMAs, Billboard Music Awards, VMAs)
• Compile weekly department report and television update
• Handle invoice processing for department
• Update department event calendar, contact database, dark dates & editorial calendars
• Research new PR opportunities to share with the team
• Liaise with the Corporate Communications department on various artist updates & reporting they need

Who you are:
• Interested in beginning a career in Publicity / Public Relations
• 1-2 years administrative experience within the music industry/tech/fashion/film/tv (strong preference within public relations / internship experience considered)
• Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Photoshop, Outlook, TV Eyes and Canva
• Strong research skills
• Multitasking pro with an efficient mindset and a go getter disposition
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Strong interpersonal skills that enable one to positively relate to a wide variety of industry people
