Job Description
RAVEN SOFTWARE, thriving after 30 years and a major contributor to the Call of Duty® franchise, is seeking LEAD AUDIO DESIGNERS to manage our growing campaign and Warzone audio teams.

As a game audio veteran, your mission is to inspire, mentor and lead a team of high-caliber audio designers in creating immersive and compelling sound effects that will be enjoyed by millions of players across the globe.

Responsibilities:
• Lead and develop audio team member careers while fostering our culture of continuous improvement.
• Assess needs and define goals, action plans and schedules with audio and cross-department leadership.
• Oversee the design and execution of features, pillars and projects to Raven's high standards for game audio.
• Contribute to the creative aspects of sound design, implementation, mixing and troubleshooting game audio.
• Closely collaborate with outside departments and external partners/vendors to create world-class experiences.
• Manage, task, mentor, conduct one-to-one meetings and performance reviews with your direct reports.
• Develop your team by providing consistent guidance, goals, opportunities and resources.
• Empower audio designers to thrive on open and welcome constructive criticism.
• Champion best practices and advocate towards streamlining tools and processes.
• Work with other teams to ensure audio requirements and plans are understood.
• Take an active role in improving our game audio development techniques and tools.

Requirements:
• Inspiring showreel that demonstrates your accomplishments and excellence in game audio.
• Please specify what portions you contributed to in any collaborative examples.
• No music is strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of game audio experience for multiple AAA titles.
• 3+ years leading audio designers on 1+ shipped title(s).
• Comprehensive understanding of audio recording, design, processing and mixing.
• Fluency in game audio implementation targeting console functionality, capabilities and limitations.
• Audio software proficiency using tools such as REAPER, Pro Tools, Waves, and other plug-ins.
• Adept at using recording interfaces, microphones and outboard processors.
• Experience with Windows and/or macOS, familiarity with productivity software such as word processors and spreadsheets.
• Receptive to evaluation of one's own work, and skilled at communicating feedback to others.

Pluses:
• Active player of Call of Duty or other shooters is a plus.
• Game development accomplishments outside of audio is a plus.
• Scripting and/or programming skills is a plus.

In the US, the standard base pay range for this role is $97,200.00 - $179,900.00 Annual. This base pay range is for the US and is not applicable to locations outside of the US Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
