Job Description

Seeking a Super Studio Manager! Private Island Audio is a mom/pop 33-year established audio post house near Hollywood (www.privateislandaudio.net). Wonderfully diverse, happy staff. Searching for an incredibly efficient, pleasantly assertive, people-oriented, movie-loving person with a sunny front desk personality.

Must haves:

  • Deep understanding of Mac computers
  • Intense focus and immense energy
  • Genius with Google software
  • Data transfers (uploads/downloads)
  • Speed reading skills
  • Excellent spelling
  • Banking (QuickBooks, Zelle, and PayPal)
  • A love for actors, directors, producers, & movies!


Ideally a graduate from a media or audio-based school. Will be managing bookings, delegating tasks, and precisely communicating with engineers and clients. This is a fun place for you to grow in an administrative role.

Mid-City location in historical mansion. Must have a wicked sense of humor, infinite patience, love our cat and dog, and be healthy and fully vaccinated. Non-smoking facility.

Free lunch and parking. Requires 3 days per week 9:30-5:30PM, some weekends. Training rate starts at $19/hour then increases with knowledge. We can be somewhat flexible with your scheduling. Alternate days of the week are filled by another person. Safe, beautiful neighborhood. Private, colorful office. All ages, races, genders, and backgrounds are welcome. Must be a US citizen.
