Senior Analyst, Strategy

Overview:

Paramount Streaming's Strategy team is looking to hire a Strategy Analyst. We want you to help build and lead strategy for Paramount Streaming and its flagship services, Paramount+ and Pluto TV. This role works directly with multiple teams across Paramount, including Content, Distribution and Business Development, Product and Technology, Marketing, Sales, Finance, International, and corporate leadership to define and execute on the streaming strategy for Paramount. This role will report to the Sr. Director, Strategy and will be based out of either our Los Angeles or New York offices. Join the team!

Role and Responsibilities:
• Collaborating with the streaming leadership teams to develop, refine, and drive the global strategic vision for Paramount Streaming, including a coordinated strategy across free and pay streaming business lines
• Partner with the Paramount corporate strategy group on cross-company collaboration, including content windowing policies
• Help identify, analyze, and present new business opportunities
• Assess and provide updates on industry trends and competitive landscape
• Manage and create business communications and presentations for senior management that fuse financial, performance, strategic, and competitive information cohesively
• Support distribution and business development team with partnership strategy, as well as financial and qualitative deal analysis
• Contribute industry knowledge, thought leadership and a growth perspective to the organization
• Identify and evaluate strategic opportunities through market research, benchmarking, and business modeling

Basic Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in Strategy, Business Development, Consulting, or Investment Banking
• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience preferred
• Highly proficient with Microsoft suite
• Deep quantitative and analytical skills, with a shown ability to apply data to drive decision making

Additional Qualifications:
• Strong curiosity in entertainment and media, streaming content
• Experience in digital subscription services and/or digital retail, e-commerce
• Shown experience in Business Development, Marketing, and Finance
• Strong leadership skills with ability to form lasting working relationships and encourage trust and confidence in others
• Ability to work cross-functionally across a large and complex organization with demonstrated success collaborating to tackle problems
• Ability to multitask, work autonomously and adapt to a challenging, fast-paced environment
• Ability to operate independently and lead multiple teams and time-sensitive projects simultaneously
• Intimate knowledge of the media and technology ecosystem
• Strong communication skills and ability to cultivate relationships cross-functionally

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $85,600.00 - 110,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
