Overview & Responsibilities

At Paramount, the Marketing Analytics and Data Integration (MADI) team prototypes, builds, and scales data infrastructure and products; assesses, aggregates, and analyzes data! The MADI team crafts qualitative and quantitative-based narratives and insights, providing key partners with decision support, performance clarity, and business-driving recommendations.

The Business Intelligence Analyst will support cross-platform media attribution efforts by translating data to clear, actionable insights and recommendations using cross-platform attribution and media measurement tools! In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate multi-functionally to optimize media impact and increase return on ad spend.
• Synthesize and analyze data to deliver data-driven insights and strategic recommendations that increase return on investment throughout the customer journey
• Find opportunities to improve current workflows to scale reporting and drive analytical capabilities forward
• Develop and maintain reporting and dashboards for internal marketing teams and external partners
• Lead multiple exciting projects, while anticipating solutions and maintaining deadlines
• Collaborate with Marketing and Media Activation teams to ensure campaign alignment
• Partner closely with the Marketing Data Management team, and deliver requirements to automate data sources and reporting
• Work with the Internal Data Science teams to further develop marketing analytics models
• Support ad hoc analysis to provide deeper and more granular insights into media performance

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in digital marketing and analytics, web analytics, online media industry
• Experience extracting data from databases using SQL, as well as an understanding of data and systems infrastructures
• Media measurement experience (inclusive of web, native app, video measurement technology and standards)
• Expertise in analytical tools that support accurate data analysis, reporting, and visualization (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Tableau, Looker Studio, R, Python)

Additional Qualifications
• Experience using Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery)
• Experience using project management tools like those from Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence)
• A strong background in mathematics/statistics, with the ability to think critically

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $85,600.00 - 112,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
