If that sounds like something you would love to do, we want to hear from you! Come help us build a world-class cloud platform capable of delivering fun and unique gaming experiences to millions of players.

As a Technical Project Manager, you will work with our Network Engineering & Operations team to keep our platform available and robust, while continually enabling our service teams to deliver new and exciting product and technical features! Our team strives to iteratively learn and improve our processes, which continually sets the standard for operational excellence within our organization. As a project manager, you will be encouraged to be a technical leader on our team, helping identify and proactively drive improvements in both process and technology.

Responsibilities
• Coordinate the scheduling, prioritization and drive the delivery of operational, provisioning and engineering project work across the local team, while coordinating with global partners.
• Work with the other groups inside the greater Network team to gather requirements on network expansion and product roadmaps to ensure appropriate delivery of capacity, facilities and projects in support of broader SIE and PlayStation goals.
• Work with engineers, creatives, and management to maintain project schedules, estimate level of effort, and to supervise, influence, and direct progress.
• Report project progress, status, and risks to project partners.
• Use and improve upon formal project management techniques including Agile methodologies.
• Problem solving within a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment, with the ability to bring order to ambiguous situations.

Requirements
• Minimum of 4 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or equivalent experience as a Project Manager with demonstrated ability in the telecommunications, networking, content provider or streaming industry.
• Exhibits strong project management skills, tracking and reporting on projects with defined timelines and expected results, including proven record of resolving delays and sophisticated project dependency issues (time, resources, budgets).
• Superb communication and organizational skills with the willingness and ability to work with multiple teams located in different timezones.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, work independently under pressure, prioritize, and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly motivated, self-starter who can balance problems efficiently and keen to respond with the appropriate level of urgency to situations.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience
• Strong presentation skills, expectation management and facilitation skills across all levels of internal and external partners.
• Familiarity with telecommunications and ISP service delivery.
• Familiarity with digital media software and networking technologies, especially those related to Sony's products, services, and devices.
• Proficiency with tools in agile development (Jira, Confluence, Trello, etc.) and modern collaboration tools (GSuite, Slack, Office365, etc).
