We are Media Molecule, a multi-award winning game developer and part of the wider PlayStation Studios group. We have a history of creating outstanding games such as LittleBigPlanet, Tearaway and most recently, the BAFTA Award winning Dreams. It's a fantastic time to join us as we embark on our next adventure, defining and executing the vision for our next project and settling into our gorgeous, newly refurbished studio in central Guildford. We are now searching for a Technical Producer to join the team!

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for key areas of the project you will partner closely with the relevant leads to deliver on project goals and deliverables.
• Manage the planning, scheduling and live release of work for a multi-discipline team.
• Provide supporting material for budget reports, flagging risks to current project budgets.
• Responsible for producing realistic production schedules, in coordination with team leads and key stakeholders.
• Partner closely with the engineering team leads to define and deliver milestone content.
• Support with production processes, using a blend of agile and other project management methodologies.
• Track and update project progress, producing status reports and updates.
• Identify and resolve conflicts between schedule, budget, and project scope.
• Collaborate with the wider production team, identifying opportunities for efficiencies, critical dependencies and risk mitigation strategies.
• Organise regular product reviews with stakeholders and team leads, handling feedback and deadline impacts.

Skills required:
• Previous experience in a Production role within the games industry.
• Experienced in project management using Jira, Trello or other related tools.
• Experience of planning multiple projects from conception through to completion with a mixed-discipline team of creative people.
• Experience of sprint and milestone management.
• Experience identifying and proactively resolving impediments to project delivery.
• Demonstrated success in building strong working relationships with technical stakeholders
• A proactive, methodical and detail orientated approach with the ability to communicate and influence effectively across the studio.

Technical knowledge
• High level knowledge of graphical techniques, graphics pipelines, engine components, online technologies and general programming principals
• Knowledge of tooling and pipelines
• Working knowledge of version control (GIT or Perforce)
• Experience / familiarity using the commandline
• A general interest in technical developments in games, proactively keeping up to date with industry trends and developments.
• Nice to have but not essential - prior experience of scripting languages (e.g.Python)
