Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Cloud Operations Engineer in San Francisco, CA to conduct software development activities in support of the deployment and continuous operation of the network. Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, or related field or equivalent, and two (2) years of experience configuring and tuning performance in Tomcat, Apache and Nginx. Prior experience must include two (2) years of maintaining and modifying cloud-based n-tier web applications and tackling traditional operations problems through automation and enhancement of software; performing technical deep-dives into software code, databases, load balancers, networks, operating systems and storage; triaging and troubleshooting software in the event of Cloud service outages and auditing and correcting Cloud service alerting configurations; conducting System Administration of Cloud Linux resources, and managing data storage software resources; remediating data storage software service outages and incidents; and, in executing duties, utilizing Ruby, Python n-tier web applications, REST APIs, HTML5, CSS and JavaScript, and continuous integration tools including Git, Jenkins, Nexus, Artifactory, Chef and Salt.
