Job Description
Our International Sales team is currently seeking a Sales Assistant to join their global team. The International Sales Assistant will provide general administrative and sales support to the Senior Sales Manager, as well as to the sales teams responsible for selling English language titles within Asia. The candidate would not only learn about sales, but also about marketing and publicity. Job Responsibilities:
• Provides sales and administrative support to the Asia and Education sales teams.
• Updates and maintains special project presentation for the China sales team and the proprietary sales manager.
• Creates and manages regional and seasonal presentations for the Asia and Education sales teams.
• Creates monthly newsletters for the Asia and Education sales teams.
• Monitors education sales email inbox.
• Sends out desk copy samples to international schools.
• Collaborates on annual education catalogs.
• Assists on special market sales projects.
• Runs regular and ad hoc sales reports.
• Works with supervisor to explore new international sales opportunities.
• Provide back up to fellow sales support and production colleagues as needed.

Minimum Requirements:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a deadline driven environment
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Prior office or publishing experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications:
• Interest in learning about account management
• Ability to speak and/or read a foreign language
• Experience with Business Objects or PowerBI
