Overview and Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for supporting the Distribution Manager with scheduling, tracking asset delivery, generating payment orders, and supervising the mastering processes related to the creation and localization of Paramount's theatrical feature film releases worldwide.
• Generates, implements, and manages crucial schedules for scripting, translations, and subtitling processes required for all worldwide theatrical releases
• Supervises the conversion and delivery of high-profile preliminary and final picture and audio materials to global localization vendors through approved platforms while adhering to strict security measures
• Communicates regularly with territory offices to ensure accurate versions are being processed and delivered
• Supervises international and domestic vendor workflow and for efficient and cost-effective output
• Coordinates project budgets, purchase orders, and wire transfers into localization vendors
• Initiates script creation schedule for necessary dialogue and spotting lists required for accurate language translations
• Initiates and manages all China localization work required for release China adhering to stringent instructions from China Film Group within narrow turnaround windows
• Co-creates mastering schedules with Managers/Supervisors for all worldwide dubbed and subtitled theatrical release versions
• Works with WWDS VP and Manager to take delivery of original version elements from Post Production
• Works with Print Control team to ensure all theatrical versions are sent out on scheduled due date
• Collaborates with Beijing office and vendors on China related scheduling, delivery and screenings if needed
• Supervises delivery of both original and localized materials into Digital Cinema vendors for mastering, ensuring all materials are completed for timely delivery
• Builds mastering schedules housing all deliveries needed to make a digital cinema package including subtitle files, dub audio, dub cards, On Screen Text documents, all picture and audio formats
• Leads all aspects of creation of localization inserts and On-Screen Text for all territory versions; ensures vendor is properly coordinating with territory contacts for accurate translations and correct formats
• Coordinates creation of Censor Cut versions with Manager, vendors and territory contacts; logs all censor data to share with downstream partners
• Works with in-house sound editors for all audio and prelim picture deliverables
• Collaborates with dubbing team to ensure delivery of necessary audio materials to various third-party vendors
• Attends Quality Control screenings for localized versions of worldwide releases
• Coordinates with vendor to distribute Quicktime files to dubbing and mastering facilities, internal and international teams, ensuring files are sent with accurate specs
• Responsible for community site that houses Quicktime files and related documents used for translations and dubbing purposes, uploading documents as needed
• Raises purchase orders and process invoices for all worldwide distribution vendors, tracking financial transfers

Basic qualifications:
• At least 2+ years similar work experience
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and internet software
• Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered

• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must have valid CA Driver's license

Additional Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Self-motivated, self-starter
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Experience in Entertainment Industry
• Digital Cinema mastering experience preferred
• Basic post production knowledge
• Knowledge of International servicing
