Overview & Responsibilities
This role will be responsible for servicing archival and mastering content for the entire catalog (movies, episodic, trailers, images) on behalf of multiple Paramount and Viacom-partner marketing, sales and legal groups. Since the start of 2020, the Servicing team has taken on a dozen new workflows that existed elsewhere in Paramount; while expanding marketing and promotional efforts within the company had increased existing workloads year over year by 125% from 2019 levels. With the ever-increasing consumption in consumer streaming options, the addition of the Miramax library and continual marketing plans for new 4K catalog content, extra headcount will be necessary to meet deadlines and insure quality communication and servicing to all prospective clients.
Responsibilities:
• Client-focused customer service of domestic and international clients and distribution partners
• Direct point of contact for servicing Paramount and Viacom-partners' sales, marketing and licensing groups on orders and requests for distribution materials
• Vendor management for asset creation, asset deliveries and invoicing.
• Vendor/customer management for handling asset confirmation and/or rejections
• Address problematic assets and resolve issues!
• Researching and evaluating assets (physical, digital and document)
• On/off-site QC review of source and final materials for distribution
• Data entry into multiple tracking and archive systems
• Work with department management, studio clients, and vendors to ensure spec sheets are accurate and updated
• Handling distribution and production workflows at vendor facilities
• Tracking schedule breakthroughs and communicating issues if not met
• Weekly departmental meetings providing status updates and review of upcoming schedules
• Running the status & due dates of elements being built for physical production, Archive, digital servicing and general distribution
• Assist operation and production needs across various groups within Asset Management (as needed)
• Crafting and tracking purchase orders for customers across all market segments
• Balancing purchase orders against invoices for final approvals
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years' experience in client services within a studio or major vendor
• Foreign and Domestic Mastering related experience and familiarity with Understanding of mastering related equipment, standards, and materials
• Knowledge of traditional and advanced digital mastering workflows, processes, and techniques
