Job Description
Overview and Responsibilities

We're looking for a talented, capable individual to join Paramount's Global Compliance team. The ''Manager, Global Compliance'' position is responsible for supporting and contributing to a strong culture of ethics and compliance at Paramount. Reporting to the Vice President, Global Compliance, this role will assist the day-to-day operations of the technology platforms that support the Compliance function. The primary areas of compliance risk (relevant to this role) are anti-bribery and corruption, conflicts of interest, and export controls/sanctions.

Duties

In collaboration with internal stakeholders (Legal, HR, IT) and 3rd party vendors, oversee the ongoing operations and effectiveness of the program's technology systems.

These include:

Conflict of Interest Management
• Monitor and review all conflicts of interest reported through the system - to ensure all disclosures are evaluated in a timely manner
• Gather corroborating information, approvals, and supporting details
• Elevate disclosures for resolution, where appropriate

Compliance Reviews for New Vendor Set-Up;
• Monitor and review potential 3rd parties that are flagged for Compliance review in the vendor setup tool
• Gather corroborating information and supporting details; escalating for guidance and resolution, as appropriate

Whistleblower Hotline
• Monitor and escalate hotline reports
• Oversee periodic updates to the platform ensuring submission form categories reflect our current organizational designations

Online-Training Platform
• Track and help launch e-course campaigns
• Monitor employee completion rates and follow up as necessary to ensure wider adoption
• Troubleshoot and resolve user challenges

Other duties, as assigned.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree required
• 2+ years of professional experience in compliance, legal, due diligence, investigatory or related function

Additional Qualifications
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organization and project management skills
• Comfort in developing proficiency in multiple software applications
• Strong business judgment in gathering information in order to make a determination if a situation meets Compliance standards
• At ease advising internal stakeholders to remain patient while Compliance is collecting information and conducting evaluations

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $98,400.00 - 116,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
