Job Description
Overview and Responsibilities:

We are looking for a business- minded Director, Human Resources to join our Ad Sales HR Team. Reporting to the VP of HR, this role will support leaders within our Go-To-Market and Specialty Sales teams partnering with them closely to create and implement data-driven people strategies that directly support and enable the business' objectives. You will have a deep focus on talent development, change management, and organizational design.

Your Day-to-Day:
• Build strategic partnerships with business leaders and people managers to maintain and continue building a culture of employee engagement and performance excellence.
• Partner with employees at all levels to continually assess needs and implement plans that enable our teams to thrive and drive elevated business outcomes.
• Collaborate with the HR People Analytics team and Sales Strategy team to identify and interpret trends in data sets to tell a compelling story about our employees and inform decision making across the sales organization.
• Translate business and sales team priorities into actionable and inclusive short- and long-term staffing plans while partnering with Talent Acquisition to recruit, select and hire top talent.
• Work with the Ad Sales Finance and Strategy teams on Sales Incentive Plan communication tools, processes, and plans to ensure best in class partner management.
• In partnership with the Compensation team, provide compensation support including salary planning, approval of salary actions, promotions and job re-leveling.
• Work collaboratively with HR COEs to continually innovate our services by improving processes, customizing existing programs or introducing new initiatives to drive the right business outcomes.
• Lead with a data ownership mentality, working with business leaders and HR Operations partners to ensure key employee data including Holdco and product/platform mapping is maintained for reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with and mentor early career HR talent where appropriate.
• Provide direction and solutions on matters of employee performance and team efficiency while offering feedback on style and leadership behaviors to improve work relationships, build morale, increase production and drive retention.
• Create and implement sustainable solutions related to Employee Relations matters in partnership with our central employment law and employee relations teams.
• Performs additional related duties as required and assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, and talents:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in an HRBP-specific role, preferably with 2+ years HR experience in a fast-paced advertising environment
• At least 1+ year management experience

Additional Qualifications:
• Knowledge of the Advertising Industry
• Strong functional HR knowledge: is well versed in fields of the HR function and stays current in emerging talent practices and developments
• Proven ability to drive priorities, deliver on objectives and influence direction in area of accountability
• Proven track record of successfully working at all levels of the organization, demonstrating influence and client advising skills with employees, managers and senior leadership
• Demonstrated ability to understand complex business issues and develop HR initiatives/actions based on data and analytics to support business strategies
• Comfortable with ambiguity and being a part of deeply complex strategy discussions
• Operates with a high sense of urgency and initiative; able to proactively anticipate issues while providing viable, alternative solutions to the business
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities; skilled in communicating with diverse partners, both 1:1, in large groups and at any level within the organization
• Displays courage and confidence when solving tough coaching situations while maintaining trusting client relationship
• Demonstrated ability to work in a matrixed environment; strong collaboration skills with peers and corporate HR partners
• Knowledge of federal, state and local laws and statutes which govern policies and practices of hiring, compensation and benefits and general employment

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $130,000.00 - 155,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
