Job Title: Senior Workplace Manager of Design and Construction
Reports to: Senior Director, Design and Construction.
Job Overview: The Senior Workplace Manager of Design and Construction is a NYC position will be a key support resource you will be responsible for optimizing our office spaces and ensuring that our workspaces are efficient and conducive to productivity. You will collaborate closely with the Director of Space Planning & moves to implement strategic workplace solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead role in Space Management analysis and reporting working closely with the Design & Construction team on all implementation and reporting needs.
• Coordinate space planning, employee relocations, update and maintain all records for designated Paramount groups at multiple locations
• Assist in developing and implementing space planning strategies to maximize workspace efficiency.
• Meeting with designated group point people, space assignment, office/workstation layouts, miscellaneous renovation if required, relocation coordination and all post move requirements.
• Create and maintain relationships with consultants, construction vendors and furniture dealers. Develop dealer support services including timely project quotes, specification writing, and layouts, etc.
• Collaborate and coordinate D&C activities with all Real Estate & Facilities staff as an integral means of achieving departmental synergy and goal of providing a high level of customer service.
• Develop and maintain good rapport with the Core Services Regional staff, all Paramount point people, IS&T, Telecom, Security, Production Technologies and vendors.
• Oversee the coordination of furniture, equipment, and IT requirements for office moves.
• Maintains all space planning information in the space management database. Update the database weekly based on information gathered from the move sheets, promotional announcements, Human Resources new hire and termination correspondence. Periodically perform physical verification of floor occupants.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Facilities Management, Interior Design, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 8+ years experience with proven experience in space planning, office relocations, or facilities management.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
• Excellent computer skills i.e.; Word, Excel, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of the construction industry and an understanding of construction terminology and framework. Includes the ability to read architectural and engineering drawings.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
• High level of motivational and organizational skills coupled with excellent administrative skills with an attention to detail and follow-up.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $120,000.00 - 155,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
