Job Description
Role:
Our Executive Director, International Media will serve as the contact between Paramount's Los Angeles Home Office and field offices for communication of all international media strategies & directives pertinent to assigned territories. S/he will simultaneously be our point person for title specific tasks and ad hoc projects as deemed by the SVP. We're looking for s/he to also provide mentorship for our team's Senior Manager.

Key Responsibilities for Each Market:

International Media Plan Review for Assigned Territory
• Review local media plans for assigned top territories using the built allocations sheet, key media beats (weight and rotation summary), and media strategy slides to discuss the campaign with the market and provide approval on deadline
• Identify Home Office objectives 120 days (dependent on GBO ranking) and advise on suitable measurement strategies
• Review and analyze local data; optimize standard methodology while in flight
• Provide analytics report on metrics, analyzing and interpreting trends and providing measurable insights based on available analytics data
• Deliver regular reporting/analysis, and present findings when applicable in weekly media meetings

Bi-weekly Media Calls (with assigned top markets)
• Update agendas in preparation for media calls, lead calls to go through the agenda points - discuss hot topics and provide updates from Home Office

Mentorship

Provide mentorship to our Senior Manager and share feedback for evaluation of local media plan submissions as well as filmmaker decks

For Each Assigned Title:

Lead Pan Regional Planning/Buying
• Provide media campaign approvals and handle deadlines to develop objectives, strategies, plans and presentations
• Run Pan Regional TV Buys, working with Wavemaker Miami, SEA TV buys, and key regional office leads. Handle media partner RFP process
• Work on Digital Partner brainstorms, spends, post analysis, etc.
• Provide budgeting, execution, financial reporting, optimization and invoice reconciliation on all media plans
• Review and develop Media Guidelines with continued brainstorming on 360 ideas (TV, Online, OOH, Audio)
• Produce the Creative and Specs Worksheet to ensure creative team is apprised of changes to placements. Work closely with Senior Manager on keeping track of timelines (Booking and Creative dates)
• Develop and execute paid trailer campaign recommendations and optimizations (Pan Regional, and collection of local plans). Review Post Analysis reporting, and then communicate to markets
• Advise on new, creative ways to reach targets by staying apprised of industry standards, new media programs/opportunities.

Filmmaker Deck / Presentations / Adhoc Documents
• We'll need for you to collaborate with local markets to pinpoint and collect key impact 360 media executions and strategic creative ideas to be included in deck for filmmaker presentations
• Collaborate with the corresponding Strategy team; build and incorporate slides into decks to create an aesthetic and flow to presentations
• Provide collating information, e.g.competitive spends, incremental/trimmed budgets and media trends

PO Approvals
• Provide support with PO Approvals and partner with Finance on items such as invoicing and reconciliation of payments

Qualifications:
• Specialist in media strategy, planning and buying with an expertise in digital media
• Minimum 8 years in media/entertainment industry with experience in international major markets
• Experience of working in Tableau, and knowledge of Cinema/Film maker/distributor relationships and schedules, preferred

• Self-starter who enjoys new challenges and has analytical and problem solving capability and who is able to follow through on tasks
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with colleagues and suppliers and builds good working relationships
