The Coordinator, Distribution Operations – CBS Broadcast, supports the day-to-day execution of CBS Network VOD distribution across MVPDs and vMVPDs, including scheduling, metadata entry, artwork collection, and calendar creation, as well as assisting with partner communications and internal coordination. Additionally, the Coordinator will provide support for CBS Station responsibilities and broader Distribution Operations projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
CBS Network & Cable Networks Video-On-Demand:
• Schedule CBS VOD, including related metadata and artwork, for distribution to MVPD/vMVPD partners.
• Prepare and distribute weekly CBS VOD schedules and monthly calendars.
• Partner closely with media distribution teams to ensure on-going distribution of CBS VOD.
• Facilitate issue resolution with internal and external stakeholders.
• Audit CBS VOD availability on distribution partner platforms.
• Monitor CBS VOD performance and provide regular summaries.
• Collaborate with Ad Operations to ensure on-going CBS VOD DAI effectiveness.
• Support project-based initiatives, such as onboarding of new CBS VOD partners.
• Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance scheduling accuracy and reduce turnaround times.
CBS Stations:
• Track vMVPD and D2C blackout and program clearances for local station content.
• Partner with data team on monthly reporting to CBS station groups.
• Coordinate station changes across distribution partners and O&O platforms.
Other:
• Maintain CBS brand pages on vMVPD platforms.
• Support cross-functional projects tied to distribution renewals, content delivery requirements, and new partner launches.
Basic Qualifications
• 1–2 years of experience, specifically with VOD scheduling.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Well-versed in AI e.g. Microsoft Copilot and its application across Microsoft 365 tools
• Proactive problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach to team projects.
Additional Qualifications
• Familiarity with the television, streaming, and digital video ecosystem.
• Demonstrated interest in media distribution, operations, and the evolving streaming landscape.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other productivity tools.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $55,000.00 - 65,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
