DESCRIPTION:

Paramount+ daily animated variety series TOONING OUT THE NEWS seeks Animation Production Assistant. The series is NYC-based with a remote workflow currently.

TOONING OUT THE NEWS features a cast of animated characters parodying top news stories and interviewing real-world guests, newsmakers, and analysts. The series is executive produced by Stephen Colbert and Chris Licht of CBS' The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and RJ Fried and Tim Luecke from Showtime's Our Cartoon President.

Responsibilities:
• Track show art assets and project files for Photoshop, After Effects, and Character Animator
• Organize tutorial curriculum developed by animation team leads into PDF documents and track animator progress
• Maintain and update document file library, keeping team apprised of changes to workflow
• Schedule departmental meetings and daily reviews
• Transcribe and distribute notes from meetings and reviews to pertinent team members
• Support Associate Producer with any daily show tasks

QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills/Experience Required:
• Must know how to use Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work under pressure
• Attention to detail
• Penchant for organization

Educational Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
