Seasonal Content Syndication Coordinator
The NFL digital video distribution business is growing rapidly every day, providing premium video and NFL game highlights to fans across the world. Are you ready to join the team responsible for creating and distributing NFL game highlights to multiple platforms and millions of fans. The Content Syndication Team is looking to hire a passionate self-starter to fill our open Content Syndication Coordinator position. The Content Syndication Coordinator, which is a full-time, seasonal role (40 hrs/week, 7-month contract), will work on a team that oversees the creation and distribution of NFL game highlights, VOD content syndication operations, supporting live streaming digital channels, application of metadata, and supporting VOD storage operations on behalf of the NFL Media content organization.
The team and responsibilities are both diverse and important and we are looking for a dependable and intelligent person who wants to get their foot in the door of sports media. The ideal candidate for this position must have knowledge of NFL teams, players and current storylines and is also flexible to work early mornings, late nights, NFL game days and holidays.
Responsibilities
• Edit, upload, and syndicate NFL game highlight content using cloud-based editing software and custom NFL content management systems
• Support programming operations for the ''NFL Channel'', a 24/7 live linear stream available on FAST and CTV platforms
• Manage titles, captions, metadata and programming of video content across NFL digital properties and our cloud storage system
• Lead in programming, syndication and delivery of digital video content to our partner organizations
• Archive NFL digital video original and historical video content to our cloud storage system
• Responsible for assisting in cutting VOD content from NFL Network shows and posting to NFL digital platforms
• Limited oversight of projects
• Schedule-making duties for team
Required Qualifications
• Vast knowledge of NFL teams, personnel and storylines
• Must be available to flexible hours according to the NFL events calendar including early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays and special events/instances of breaking news
• Strong journalism skills (spelling, headline creation, grammar, AP Style etc.)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
• Ability to learn new technical workflows
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous editing experience on Adobe Premiere preferred but not required
• Intermediate experience in digital media workflows (content creation, metadata, content programming)
• Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Must be based in Los Angeles, New Jersey, New York, or willing to relocate
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required

• Elite communication and organization skills
• Strong knowledge of NFL teams, personnel, history and storylines
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere a plus
• Knowledge of trending storylines in sports, news & culture
Terms / Expected Hours of Work
• Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late nights, weekends and special events
• 7 month employment period, 40 hours per week expected
Salary / Pay Range
This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of salaries or hourly rates that the NFL believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job in the location(s) specified. The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
Salary
$30 - $30 USD

This role requires onsite presence at an NFL office or stadium location, and remote and/or hybrid working options are not offered.
