Job Description
Production Assistant-Sports & News(Temp Position)
KSN is looking for an individual to fill a part-time, temporary position to assist with sports coverage. Position includes coordinating schedules, feeds of games, and could include shooting video highlights of sports coverage, including high school football. Position is in-person at KSNW, Wichita, Kansas, using equipment provided by the station, under supervision of news team and management. Temporary position is for fall of 2025.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate coverage of sports with news management, including sports director and news director
• Arrange feeds and organize video and highlights of sporting events
• Update scores for digital and broadcast
• Shoot video of local sporting events, as assigned
• Assist in newsroom duties during shift

Requirements & Skills:
• Basic editing and videography skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Knowledge of local sports teams
