Production Assistant

Job Description

The Production Assistant is responsible for various television production duties required to record scenes for live and recorded broadcasts. You will play a crucial role by ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our television production processes.
• Provides general support with set preparation
• Floor directing in-studio and on location
• Tests, cleans and maintains studio camera equipment
• Confers with directors and other crew members to discuss sequences, desired effects, camera movements and lighting requirements
• Greeting guests and escorting them to the studio
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements & Skills:
• High School Diploma
• Familiarity with processes and procedures of a television production department is a plus
• Must be able to interact well with on-air talent, production staff and guests who appear on the show
• Detail oriented
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Basic computer knowledge including MS Office
• Ability to prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
