We are focused on storytelling, telling the stories that matter, have
an impact on our communities and keeping people informed and
safe. We are looking for a hard-working individual with a great
attitude and excellent people skills. Teamwork with a reporter is
essential but must also possess the ability to work independently,
under pressure, demonstrate solid ethical news judgement and
communicate effectively.
Our photojournalists must be able to shoot, produce and edit
creative and impactful stories daily. Operate live equipment
including TVUs, microwave and satellite trucks. Edit with Premiere
Pro, familiarity with file sharing systems such as FTP, Latakoo and
Bitcentral are a plus. Experience with flying drones or willingness to
obtain license. Be willing to work hard, open to learning, able to
adapt to evolving situations and technologies, tolerate flexible
scheduling, including weekends, and have a passion for storytelling.
You will work in one of the great cities in Connecticut, home of Yale
University, the Cheeseburger (Louis' Lunch), and the never-ending
pizza debate, Pepe's or Sally' Apizza. Former President George W.
Bush, actor Paul Giamatti and legendary television producer
Norman Lear were all born here. New Haven is a great city with a

This is an hourly position. The annual pay range for this position is $40-$45K. Other benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Parental Leave, Vacation and 401K match.
