Job Description
This is a rare opportunity for a position with Lansing's leading news outlets. Work with the experienced team at WLNS-CBS, WLAJ-ABC, ELAJ-CW, and WLNS.COM. You will spend time in each department, learning all aspects of the business, as well as get hands-on experience in the production of live newscasts, the digital news operation, sales, and engineering. The news business is 24/7, so you will join our team on some nights and weekends, but we will work with your schedule the best that we can. This position is open immediately and is expected to continue through June of 2022. The term of employment is negotiable. Network with industry leaders in the nation's largest broadcast television company, get hands-on experience and get paid. While we cannot promise any future employment opportunities, our company has many job openings on a regular basis. This position is open to current students or anyone who is interested in exploring a new career.

Requirements:

An enthusiastic attitude and genuine interest in local news

Ability to work within a team in a professional atmosphere

Reliability

Computer skills

Some college, current student status is fine
