Job Description
News Nation is seeking a Media Asset Manager responsible for developing a workflow and management of all network media assets. This highly collaborative individual will work with various News Nation teams including Digital, IT, Creative Services, News and Engineering. This is a full time position based in Chicago, IL
Responsibilities:
*Organize, document and manage multiple media platforms for News Nation
*Storage of media content; both short and long term
*Establish and maintain video archives
*Develop and manage internal video library
*Manage all internal and external media streams
*Coordinate news editor assignments and schedules
*Monitor video servers and playback systems
Requirements:
*Minimum 5 years of experience of proven leadership as Media Asset Manager in broadcast industry
*Extensive knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Bitcentral, Latakoo and ENPS operating systems
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize in a high-pressure, fast paced environment
