Title: Manager, Ad Platform Operations
Reports to: Director, Ad Platform Operations
Position Summary:
As part of Nexstar's newly created Advertising Platforms and Technology group the Manager, Ad Platform Operations will lead strategic projects focused on building a comprehensive tech stack to support our Local and National Sales teams. This role will be responsible for requirements gathering, project management and implementation across Nexstar's various systems. These systems cover all Nexstar media properties including linear TV for broadcast stations and networks, cable networks and multicast networks as well as CTV, OTT and all our digital media properties.
Responsibilities Include:
• Gather business requirements and build comprehensive project plans to ensure flawless execution.
• Develop and lead implementation for ad sales 'pitch-to-pay ''processes.
• Build robust sales and client reporting capabilities across Local and National sales channels.
• Partner closely with the sales, technology and monetization strategy teams to design implementation plan that ensures systems meet the objective of the sales teams.
• Continually evaluate and propose automation and other improvements for CRM, OMS, BI, sales trafficking systems, ad-server functionality and client reporting capabilities.
Salary Range: $116,000 - $132,000 + Bonus
About you:
• Minimum of 5 years overall experience in television, digital media.
• Demonstrated ad systems expertise across OMS, ad-server and data functions.
• Familiarity with ad-server and Trafficking systems for both Linear & Digital.
• Direct experience managing complex projects within a matrixed organization.
• Hands on experience building client reporting capabilities.
• 3 years Client service and/or Sales Operations experience
• Strong understanding of the ad tech ecosystem and processes associated with ''Pitch-to-Pay'' processes.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders.
