Job Description
WSPA-TV in Spartanburg/Greenville, SC has a job opening for a Digital Sales Assistant. The Digital Sales Assistant works within established Sales Department guidelines to maximize station revenue opportunities from an order entry, traffic, and accounting perspective. The Sales assistant is also responsible for performing all clerical functions required by department personnel as needed.
• Assist with order entry and campaign setup across digital platforms (OTT, Display, Pre-Roll, SEM, Social, etc.)
• Performs all digital clerical functions for the Sales Department
• Maintains awareness of the most current traffic policies, practices, and procedures.
• Monitor campaign delivery and performance to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
• Provide reporting support for Digital Specialists, Account Executives and Managers, including pulling campaign metrics and preparing recap reports for clients.
• Communicate with internal teams and vendors to resolve campaign or billing issues.
• Maintain knowledge of digital products, platforms, and best practices.
• Help maintain organized records of campaigns, reports, and client deliverables.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the Digital Team
Requirements & Skills:
• High School Diploma
• Fluency in English
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Minimum one year's experience in clerical support or administrative assistance, preferably in the sales or media fields
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Aptitude for learning new software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• General Math skills
