Job Description
NetherRealm Studios seeks an Associate Technical Artist, Cloth (Temp) who will assist the Tech Art Team in day-to-day tasks, including but not limited to cloth setup, character weighting and rigging, and implementation. This person will work closely with the team's Senior Technical Artists.
Job Responsibilities
• Use industry-standard 3D packages as well as proprietary team tools to create cloth and hair simulation assets for assigned development projects.
• Review, polish, and bug-fix cloth and hair simulations.
• Participate in departmental meetings to share personal ideas for workflow efficiency.
Work Experience
• Must possess good artistic skills and a working knowledge of 2D/3D art production.
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training, or Certification
• At least a 2-year 2D/3D art degree or equivalent. BFA is preferred.
Knowledge/Skills
• Must be proficient in Maya.
• Experience with Unreal Engine 5 is a plus.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong interest in computer or video games.
• MotionBuilder skills are a plus.
• Familiarity and comfort with cloth simulation tools would also be a plus.

• Self-motivated.
• Able to communicate with a variety of disciplines to reach solutions.
• Self-sufficient in reaching out to others within the character team or outside of it.
• Able to work effectively with both large and small teams.
• Highly organized.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $43,680.00 - $81,120.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
