Overview
As part of the EMEA Regional Marketing team, the Senior Manager, AV Post-Production will report to the Production Director and oversee the regional AV producers based in Amsterdam. This leader will be an in-house expert in all related to Marketing AV / Video Post-Production and play a crucial role in managing the production, finishing, localisation and adaptation of marketing AV: Teasers, Trailers, Featurettes and other marketing video needs in EMEA. They will have an entrepreneurial mindset, a history of people management experience, thrive in an ever changing environment and illustrate a keen level of intellectual curiosity. They will be both comfortable driving a project to success, working closely with marketing partners and creatives, and managing and inspiring a team of producers to do likewise. They will drive innovation in vendor infrastructure, workflows, and tooling to optimize our processes in tight co-ordination with global partners and peers.

MARKETING AV & POST-PRODUCTION EXPERTISE
• Team and production focused, technically adept, but creatively fluent in conversation with partners in understanding core entertainment marketing needs. Leading the team to execute world class finishing on AV assets for marketing campaigns.
• Able to offer workflow, creative, and technical advice grounded in experience to internal teams seeking guidance, or external finishing agency or facility teams.
• Define and monitor quality standards, ensuring creative integrity on all deliverables
• Up to date with the latest tools, trends, formats, and workflows.
• Knows their EDLs and AAFs, from their CDLs and IMFs, and industry standard formats.
• Familiarity with commonly used tools & facility systems and use in workflows from a production perspective, such as Adobe Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Media Encoder), Avid, Cinema 4D, Maya, Flame, Baselight, Resolve, Pro-Tools.
• Demonstrable ability to learn new tooling, understand its impact on current workflows
• Engage in tooling development with internal and external programme management and engineering partners.
• Will become a brand guardian and knowledge centre for Marketing AV.
VENDOR, PROJECT & BUDGET MANAGEMENT
• A multi-tasker able to oversee multiple campaigns at different production stages the team is working on.
• Track and maintain a regional team budget, building a clear picture of needs, partner costs and active objectives to forecast with accuracy.
• Define, communicate, implement and monitor quality standards and creative integrity on all project deliverables in line with Netflix creative guidelines.
• Continuously evolve the vendor infrastructure in response to the changing needs of the business.
• Stay current with the latest technologies and proactively seek opportunities to innovate and enhance our ways of working.
XF PARTNERSHIP & RELATIONSHIP
• Work closely with the local markets, understanding and supporting local implementation.
• Manage both internal and external partners on projects.
LOCALISATION
• Familiarity with subtitling and dubbing workflows
• Familiarity with translation / transcreation workflows around motion graphics
• Manage optimal localisation integration in AV workflows.
• Ability to partner closely with translation & language teams to address country level needs & considerations.
Requirements:
• 10+ years of Post-Production / Marketing AV experience.
• A deep understanding and ability to communicate AV production / post-production workflows.
• An understanding of entertainment marketing creative objectives, and campaign lifecycle, from initial concept through to launch.
• Exceptional project management and communication skill.
• Proven experience leading diverse teams, demonstrating exceptional empathy and people management skill.
• Ability to interact effectively with senior business leaders, showcasing excellent communication skills and executive presence.
• Exceptional creative problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to rapidly assess new information and propose optimal business solutions.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous situations, independently setting goals and desired outcomes that align with broader business strategy.
• Comfortable to openly invite feedback and collect challenging perspectives / considerations.
• Thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and possesses intellectual curiosity and sound judgment in uncertain situations.
• Keeps abreast of emerging technologies (including AI) and production trends.
