Job Description

Our top-level executives closely monitor revenue/membership growth as the key metric of business performance. The Revenue Analytics team provides the company with insights into what drives our past and current revenue/membership trends as well as an outlook on future business growth. Our analytical insights help inform our growth/monetization strategy. Our forecast drives revenue expectations, a highly critical component that feeds into the corporate planning process for spending/resource allocation across content, marketing, and technology.

Netflix is looking for an Associate, Revenue Analytics who will leverage data and business insights to drive key strategic decisions. We believe that we derive a significant competitive advantage from the highly analytical approach we take to managing the company. Senior management relies heavily on the Revenue Analytics team to develop a data-driven perspective on the company's growth, and the outcomes of our analyses play a critical role in how we plan for and execute the company's business objectives. This position is located in our offices in Mexico City.

Responsibilities
• Under the manager's guidance, produce strategic value-added analyses to understand the drivers behind revenue growth
• Support forecasting across various regions leveraging bottom-up and top-down approaches
• Represent global revenue analytics team in the region to facilitate revenue performance reporting & communication to the Latam team
• Working cross-functionally within the organization (content, payments, partnerships, marketing, product, consumer insights, etc.) to:
• Integrate broad and complex business inputs into the near-term and long-term forecast
• Analyze and report the business impact of key events to derive actionable insights and feedback for collaborative stakeholders
• Assess business impact from decisions such as pricing, content, product, etc. to facilitate planning and operational needs
• Research, track, and generate global insights into the growth landscape
• A successful candidate should have the ability to combine comprehensive data analytics with sound business intuition and judgment, and effectively communicate analytical insights to stakeholders. Given the questions asked of our team are often urgent in nature and have an immediate impact on how the business makes decisions, the individual coming into this role must be able to deliver accurate results promptly. She/He/They must thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, focus on generating results, and exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics.

Qualifications
• 5+ years in a quantitative role (e.g. business analytics, management consulting, banking, investment management, etc.)
• Proficiency in SQL & MS Excel is a must
• Possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, motivation, discipline, flexibility, and ability to work effectively autonomously
• Effective at taking guidance and directional questions and producing appropriate outputs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
• Highly skilled in preparing effective presentations (MS PowerPoint, Google Slides) with a clear narrative and impactful visuals
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree with an emphasis on coursework of a quantitative nature, such as Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or related fields
• Experience and knowledge regarding the LATAM market would be ideal
• Forecasting experience is nice to have but not required
