The Opportunity

Netflix is seeking a Administrative Assistant to provide dedicated support to the Netflix Sustainability Office, in addition to the Head of Internal Audit. The Sustainability Office has responsibility for all global environmental matters at Netflix.

The Assistant's primary responsibility will be to manage the complex and evolving day-to-day affairs of the Netflix Sustainability Office. Proactive, anticipatory, and solutions-oriented, the successful candidate will need to understand the Sustainability Officer's needs and use their great judgment and exceptional communication skills to provide support to the NSO. There will also be significant opportunities for the Assistant to make an impact by taking initiative and independently identifying and seeking opportunities to innovate and improve effectiveness across the Sustainability Office and the many divisions/teams it interacts with across the company on a daily basis. The Assistant will also support the Head of Internal Audit with scheduling meetings and expense reports.

Working collaboratively with a cross-section of stakeholders and stunning colleagues, including other Assistants across Netflix globally, the successful candidate will not only have great interpersonal skills, they will be extremely organized, self-motivated, curious, creative, and flexible. Prior experience as an Assistant and passion for helping others take care of their problems - small & large - is a must.

This position will be located in Los Angeles, California or other Netflix locations in North America.

We are looking for someone who:
• Manage the calendar, including meeting planning, schedule coordination and travel logistics, for the Netflix Sustainability Office plus the Head of Internal Audit.
• Anticipate, prepare, and/or coordinate briefing materials, including maintaining contact profiles and travel agendas.
• Process and submit business and travel expenses.
• Manage the flow of incoming and outgoing materials and requests, including determining the appropriate parties and level of response.
• Suggest and help prepare agendas, presentations, and materials for staff meetings and team events.
• Be the ''informed captain'' on select internal projects like logistics for the Sustainability Speaker Series or keeping the Sustainability Employee Landing Page fresh.
• Assist with follow-up and reminders to appropriate participants.

Qualifications
• 5+ years as an assistant providing support at an executive level.
• Ability to work well under pressure, and perform daily duties with minimal supervision.
• Self-starting team-player who thrives in a fast-paced team-oriented setting.
• Ability to be discreet and maintain confidential information.
• Highly organized, effectively prioritizes and responds accordingly.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
