Job Description

Summary

The Organizational + Talent Effectiveness (OTE) Specialist plans and assess the programs, processes and initiatives in Org. Development and Talent Development as a whole. The OTE Specialist will create and manage evaluations, assessments, as well as a learning needs analysis to ensure Universal Studios Hollywood is providing world class development opportunities to our Team Members. Additionally, the OTE Specialist will facilitate both OD and TD trainings, assist with the Employer of Choice Initiative, as well as serve as an Learning Management Systems (LMS) administrator.

Responsibilities
Organizational Development:
• Executes administration of assessment processes (e.g., Creation of standard program evaluation for the TD and L+D teams) to identify individual and organizational improvement opportunities that support USH goals and objectives.
• Researches and analyzes team needs and trends from team interviews, rubric creation, and consistent consultation across L+OD teams
• Administers systems/approaches involving performance, development, and talent management data to gather, interpret, and report trends and analysis to answer critical business and employee talent needs.
• Manages mandatory corporate compliance trainings for back of house (BOH) Team Members
• Facilitation of organizational development programs and administrative tasks as assigned

Talent Development:
• Build and assess new programming for talent development that meets the needs of all Team Members
• Utilizes in-house data to prioritize beta testing for programs/initiatives going under revision and works with the TD team
• Credits class and online trainings for all Team Members through the LMS
• Facilitation of talent development learning programs as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree – Leadership Development, OD, Education, Market Research or related areas.
• 1-3 years Human Resources experience; including Instructional Design, Graphic Design, LMS
• Detailed planning & organizing, ability to prioritize and manage change.
• Demonstrated project management and analytical skills.
• Solid working experience with data analysis and consulting with internal teams
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Database Management
• Experience in Change Management planning
• Comfortable in facilitating OD-based conversations/trainings.
• Experience with personality profiles (e.g., DiSC, Clifton StrengthsFinder, Myers Briggs, etc.)

Preferred Characteristics
• Master's Degree – Leadership Development, OD, Education, Market Research or related areas.
• Proficient technical skill in learning management systems and instructional design
• Strong written communication skills with attention to detail
• Proactive decision making and leading a team through change
• Comfortable presenting to groups.
• Certified in delivering personality profiles (e.g., DiSC, Clifton StrengthsFinder, Myers Briggs, etc.)

Eligibility Requirements
• Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA a minimum of 3 days/week
• Must be willing to work overtime and/or on weekends with short notice, when required
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older

• This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
