NBCUniversal International Distribution is responsible for the distribution of NBCUniversal product to all forms of television and new media to over 200 territories outside of the US and Canada. This includes a rich library of more than 4,200 feature films and 110,000 television episodes, including current and classic titles, non-scripted programming, sports, news, long-form and short-form programming, and locally produced content from around the world. International Distribution is a division of Comcast NBCUniversal.

Job Description

Supporting the VP, Sales Liaison Italy, MENA, Turkey & Israel, with all aspects of the licensing activities of NBC Universal's filmed entertainment and television products to Free TV, Basic & Pay TV, SVOD, AVOD & TVOD.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES
• Working with the VP, Sales Liaison to develop, implement, and achieve the annual sales budget for the territories and clients through identifying, developing and implementing strategies that maximize opportunities for incremental sales.
• Negotiating complex licensing deals with high profile media clients.
• Support formulation of strategic sales plans and priorities through research and analysis of product/market/country data to enhance the market share of NBCU products in the territory.
• Contribute to pricing and packaging strategies whilst working with the team on budgets and forecasts and assist on maintaining models and updating sales tools as necessary.
• Maintain real-time knowledge of market developments, regulatory environment and provide relevant insight.
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Sales Admin, Marketing, Business & Legal Affairs, Finance, and other internal parties) to resolve issues, communicate updates and ensure timely responses to customer needs.
• Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationship with clients.
• Administrative duties – preparation of client facing and internal presentations and any other general administrative duties as required.
• Preparation of sales materials, including the ability to use in-house sales tools to create availability lists for client selections and research product information.
• Perform other sales duties and/or special projects as assigned.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Solid and proven sales experience, with a strong preference in Television and New Media distribution or acquisition.
• Practical experience of driving and leading content deal negotiations with third parties.
• Understanding of the Linear and New Media/Digital landscape. UK experience preferred.
• Experience of growing and developing long lasting relationships with New Media, Free TV, pay/satellite/cable/broadband customers.
• Strong customer focus, committed to adding value and best possible satisfaction of needs. Cultivates a deep, proactive understanding of customer requirements and goals.
• Ability to effectively collect, collate and present market/client/product intelligence to senior management and internal teams.
• Solid team spirit with great interpersonal skills and who is enthusiastic, inquisitive and driven.
• Strong organizational skills: reliable, detail focused, strong sense of initiative with the ability to effectively handle multiple competing priorities.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office package – Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook – and ability to learn computer systems used internally.
