Responsibilities

We're looking for a super organized person with impeccable attention to detail for an exciting position in streaming news.

You'll be part of a trailblazing project that's taking local news to the next level.

Known for your incredible ability to multi-task? Perfect! You'll work closely with the Senior Programming Manager & news teams to create & manage local news programming schedules, playlists, live events & more for multiple channels on major streaming platforms.

Specific responsibilities include:
• Creating programming schedules for channels
• Implementing daily/weekly playlists
• Effectively communicate with stations & teammates to adjust to last-minute program changes (They happen fast!)
• Anticipate & troubleshoot programming conflicts – for the best viewer experience
• Ensure content delivery for proper playout on channels
• Assist in system entry of all program grids
• Editorial knowledge is a major plus
• Bilingual English & Spanish preferred

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• A minimum of 2 years+ Traffic/Coordinator experience
• Impeccable attention to detail – nothing gets by you!
• Excellent organizational skills - this job is all about detail
• Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
• Ability to manage multiple priorities at once
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Great communication skills
• Prior knowledge of scheduling, traffic software and content management systems strongly desired

Desired Characteristics
• Knowledge of Ad traffic software and/or WideOrbit
• Content Scheduling System experience preferred
• Work overtime with short notice
• Expert in Microsoft Excel
• You know basic television programming & production
• Self-starter & decision maker
