Job Description
Rotten Tomatoes is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Media Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for sourcing, coordinating, uploading, and tracking video content, thumbnails, and metadata across various distribution platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook. You will be responsible for maintaining high quality control standards, as well as ensuring content promotional opportunities are maximized. You will participate in creative and operational brainstorms, updating best practices to emulate and innovate on industry standards across current and emerging platforms. This position will report to the Digital Media Operations Manager.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Daily multi-channel/platform management, including video uploading and optimization (employing all best practices).
• Ingest and manage movie & TV assets.
• Input data into database.
• Implementation of channel design and branding strategies, such as creating thumbnails.
• Quality checking video, images, and metadata.
• Assist Platform Managers as needed.
• Manage ad hoc projects as assigned.
• Be available nights and weekends on an as-needed basis.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in digital production and publishing.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with content management systems (CMS); familiarity with platforms such as The Platform, YouTube, Drupal, WordPress, Percussion, or Magento is a plus.
• Proficiency in video and image editing tools, including Final Cut Studio and Adobe Photoshop.
• Experience using project management tools; knowledge of Airtable is a bonus.
• Proven ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Comfortable managing and adhering to daily or weekly content publishing schedules.
• Experience in client-facing roles.
• Flexibility to work extended hours, including occasional weekends and holidays, as needed.

• Highly self-motivated and proactive.
• Background in digital agencies or e-commerce environments is strongly preferred.
• Skilled at adapting to shifting priorities.
• Strong communication skills-clear, concise, and effective.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Professional and dependable.
• Passion for online video content is a plus.

• Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from our Universal City office a minimum of three days per week.
