Responsibilities
OVERVIEW
Universal Pictures International (UPI) is the International Distribution and Marketing division for Universal Pictures. In the United Kingdom, Austria, Spain, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, France, Russia, Korea, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Brazil, India and China, UPI directly markets and distributes movies through its local offices, creating campaigns and release strategies that respond to the culture and market behaviour of those territories. In other parts of the world, UPI partners with Paramount and Sony in the distribution of all three companies' films. Universal Pictures is part of NBCUniversal, one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies in the development, production, and marketing of entertainment, news, and information to a global audience. NBCUniversal is a subsidiary of Comcast Corporation.
The Coordinator International Distribution reports directly to the Vice President International Distribution and will be responsible for ensuring the high level data quality of distribution communications and administrative systems, ultimately supporting Senior Management in conveying our film strategy and performance both internally & externally. This role sits in Los Angeles and will be responsible for a variety of operational systems & reports as well as supporting the planning and execution of presentations, events & conferences. The Coordinator will work closely with the Strategy & Analytics team, Global Marketing & Communications and with Regional & Territory offices around the world.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintaining proprietary internal system ''MAGIC'' for Universal & Competitive films through title creation, matching & continuity (e.g. rights, dates, estimates, studio distributor)
• Along with regional teams assist in ensuring timeliness of box office transmissions, competitive box office updates, release schedules, and pre & post opening reports
• Backup approval for Asia Pacific territory contribution reports and adhoc requests
• Coordination with finance on invoicing and payment to vendors for distribution administrative costs
• Tracking & backup approval of repertory releases
• Maintaining territory org database and global distribution lists
• Drafting & proofreading communications for distribution and media relations
• Conference, tradeshow & filmmaker presentation planning including but not limited to maintaining detailed schedules, attendee database, hotel & travel grids and collating presentation decks & materials
• On-site conference & event support and management

Qualifications/Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS
The role requires superior organizational and communication skills. The individual must possess the ability to work independently ensuring the quality of operational systems as well as working collaboratively as part of a team across a variety of business units and international offices. The ideal candidate will also possess:
• At least 1-2 years of administrative or operational support in the entertainment industry
• Strong experience with MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
