Responsibilities
Role

The HR Coordinator, Content Distribution and Television & Streaming HQ is responsible for performing a broad range of HR and Administrative support activities. This position is responsible for interfacing & problem solving with clients and HR specialist partners, as well as providing broad HR administrative and transactional support.

Job Duties
HR Processes
• Serve as primary user for all HR systems
• Process personnel change requests for data changes, hires, promotions, terminations, special payments, and more
• Maintain organizational structure in HR systems and organizational charts
• Oversee leave of absence processes (LOA) - processing transactions and ensuring LOA pay is accurate, but also educating employees on LOA processes and procedures
• Act as primary contact for HR metrics and analytics, and run regular and ad hoc reports in Excel for data analysis
• Participate in and support key HR initiatives, including performance management, succession planning & compensation planning
• Liaise with various HR specialties and partners, including Benefits and Payroll, to manage and resolve day to day employee issues
• Maintain and update all employee email distribution lists
• Respond to routine HR questions including, but not limited to benefits, payroll, and vacation; or redirect employees to appropriate contacts
• Keep apprised & updated on new regulations, company policies & procedures

Recruiting, Staffing & Onboarding
• Assist in creation of job descriptions
• Ensure physical setup is complete for all new employees including phones, workspaces and computers
• Assist with space planning in the office
• Assist in recruiting of temporary talent
• Administer I-9 verifications for all new hires

Administration & Projects
• Partner with HR team and leadership to create, plan, and execute on-site culture building activities and events
• Support team with ad hoc projects as needed
• Plan logistics for employee meetings, trainings, and roundtables, including room reservations and technology set-up
• Assist with change management initiatives as they relate to client groups
• Maintain employee files

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 1 year of HR or related experience

Additional Job Requirements
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or adhere to enhanced protocols if Company determines your job position requires accessing an NBCUniversal worksite

Desired Characteristics
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or related field preferred
• 1 year of HR or related experience in meeting fast paced employee based or client needs
• Extremely flexible, highly organized, and able to easily shift priorities
• Ability and willingness to take on administrative duties and heavy work flow processing
• ''Customer service'' minded professional
• Possess a natural, yet professional ease at working with and relating to the needs of employees in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Proven track record of excellent follow-through on assignments; demonstrated commitment to getting tasks accomplished
