Job Description
The Position
The Coordinator, Content Acquisitions role will support the acquisitions team as it licenses content for Versant's cable networks: USA, SYFY, E! and Oxygen. This candidate will be responsible for maintaining key reports and deal status trackers, inputting data into company-wide systems, updating content analyses as deals progress and pulling information for key stakeholders.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
• Manage the acquired inventory and prepare ad hoc reports and presentations
• Enter and update pertinent details and metadata into all systems utilized across the teams
• Update, maintain and provide various reports that are required by department management and in weekly meetings
• Assist team members on special projects including researching & capturing relevant industry intel and the competitive landscape
• Track upcoming theatricals and series to target for acquisition over the next several years
• Organize and maintain team SharePoint folders with relevant deal documents
• Track all content pitched to the team (i.e. screeners, scripts) and input content into team's internal content feedback tool
• Screen movies and series and provide feedback on potential fit for the portfolio
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree and at least 1+ years of experience in the field of Entertainment Media or related field
• Exceptional proficiency in Excel
• Strong PowerPoint Skills
• Exceptional attention to detail required for contract management
• Demonstrates a passion for television and movie content from all genres
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and drive them to completion
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team player
• Pro-active thinker and self-starter
• Experience working in the industry with a foundation on how streaming and TV business works is a plus

• Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
