Responsibilities

Job Purpose:

Work with a driven and highly motivated sales team to support the Ad Sales One Platform operations of NBCUniversal, one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies. Working within the Small and Medium Sized Business Growth (SMBG) division of Advertising Sales and Partnerships, the Account Manager will be responsible for managing & developing client relationships. The Account Manager will also be responsible for executing and proactively identifying strategic approaches for new or incremental opportunities as well as upselling products and services.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The Account Manager will play a critical role within our fast paced advertising sales team, with a focus on identifying SMBG prospects and continuous assessment of the competitive landscape. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing & developing client relationships with our agency partners and marketers at the client level.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Building and managing relationships with existing and potential new clients and agencies through routine communication; actively grow industry relationships to gain marketplace intelligence
• Prospecting for new business
• Lead communication for all internal requests, client requests and RFPs
• Ensure that customer needs are translated properly and understood by all internal departments
• Understand client needs and look for opportunities to develop creative solutions
• Synergistically work alongside all internal teams (Client Team, Streaming & Data Products, Content Partnerships, Planning, Marketing, Research, Ops, etc.)
• Partner with internal stakeholders including but not limited to Client Partnerships & Client Strategy team to stay informed on category information, as well Marketing on incoming client requests
• Collaborate with Planning post-sale to ensure all clients are provided industry leading customer service

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of media experience

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Eligibility requirements:
• Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older

Desired Characteristics:
• Experience with account relationship building customer satisfaction and product implementation
• Media industry, media sales experience
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Self-starter; ability to work very independently, but also fit into a strong team environment
• Ability to travel as necessary
• Ability to effectively analyze data
• Excellent interpersonal and client relation skills
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000
