Responsibilities
Job Summary/Purpose: NBC News is seeking a Post Production Supervisor to assist in all aspects of Licensing and Syndication.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee Post production including edit schedules and editor requests for licensing and syndication projects.
• Effectively communicate with producers and work with editing operations team to coordinate edit schedule
• Manage Editor and Assistant Editor tasks
• Responsible for final delivery of show, as well as legal updates, as per client's technical guidelines
• Responsible for client deliverables
• Oversee QC process
• Troubleshoot technical issues that arise during edit
• Liaise with Production Executives, Producers, S&P, Global Media Operations team/the NOC
• Supervise screenings and reviews
• Oversee media restores
• Oversee mix downs, including naming convention for sequences
• Ensure promo material is created and delivered as per client needs
• Responsible for making sure shows are archived and deleted off of work group in a timely manner

Qualifications/Requirements
• 5+ years of post production experience in digital and/or TV news (cable or broadcast)

• Must be willing to work in New York, NY
