Responsibilities
This position is for a Producer in DC for News Channel.

Job Duties:
• Oversee and ensure editorial coverage for National Politics
• Review and deliver appropriate contact from various news sources to the affiliates
• Create, select, research, write scripts and edit video for national feed in quick turn around
• Service and coordinate affiliate, network and client requests
• Field Produce and shoot stories as needed
• Communicate story developments to the writers
• Follow and communicate Rights and Clearances restrictions

Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum 3 years in a newsroom environment
• Must be able to work weekends, nights and holidays
• Must be able to work flexible hours during major breaking news
• Must be able to work in DC

• Previous work at NBC News or NBC affiliate
