Job Description

NBC4 in Columbus has an immediate opening for an innovative, creative and experienced Videographer/Editor to work with our Lifestyle program Daytime Columbus. We are looking for an exceptional professional with a creative eye and strong non-linear editing skills. The ideal candidate can work independently or on a team to develop and execute various projects.

Essential duties & responsibilities:
• Work closely with department manager, show producer, host and reporter to produce on-location client segments for live broadcast
• Must have strong videography and non-linear editing skills
• Develop shoot plans, set ups, composition and execution
• Push the creative envelope to new levels while maintaining brand guidelines
• Extensive knowledge of and proven experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
• Working knowledge of lighting and audio gear
• Assist with additional station initiatives or other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Minimum of 2-3 years of professional videography
• Demo reel required
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneous
• Flexibility to adjust hours and work some overtime.
• Excellent communication skills
