Overview

MTVE group is seeking a data-driven Sr. Analyst that will be responsible for analyzing MTVE social accounts across platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok etc. The focus is to provide insights and recommendations that will contribute to the goals and success of the brand. The ideal candidate is a Research professional with at least 2 years of experience and passion for Social Media and pop culture. Seeking someone who is naturally inquisitive, resourceful, and eager to learn.

Specific Responsibilities
• Gather data and conduct detailed analyses on social performance using proprietary and third-party analytics tools (e.g. DOMO, Facebook Insights, YouTube Analytics, Talkwalker, Talkwalker SCR, Twitter Analytics, Listen First, etc.)
• Communicate insights and recommendations both verbally and in the form of reports/presentations to internal teams and senior management
• Support recurring reporting and monitor benchmarks based on the collaborator's objectives/requirements
• Stay on top of changing social media and digital media industry trends
• Support key collaborators with ad hoc analyses as needed

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Minimum of 2 years of related research experience with demonstrated success
• Experienced MS Office skills, including intermediate Excel (e.g. Pivot Tables, Vlookup, and IF Function, chart building)
• Experience in supporting the creation of audience-tailored presentations that tell a story convincingly
• Stellar communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively

Additional Qualifications
• Experience working with social media monitoring tools, data visualization tools, and social listening tools is preferred but not necessary (ex: Tableau, Domo, Sprinklr, etc.)
• Keen interest in effective data visualization and communication
• Demonstrated ability to work and succeed in a fast-paced environment
• Hypothesis driven problem solving skills
• Agility and flexibility to adjust to changing priorities
• Meticulous with strong organization skills and attention to detail
