Job Description
The Role:
Our Events and Experiences team advises and partners with entrepreneurs and event producers to build and expand next-generation consumer, trade and hybrid events and experiential activations. The team is responsible for event ideation and strategy, management and logistics, content programming and strategy, speaker procurement, business development, and sponsorship sales and strategic partnerships.
As a key member of the Events & Experiences team, this role is central to servicing existing clients with a focus on sponsorship sales.
The individual can be either New York or Beverly Hills (LA area) based.
This role will pay an annual base salary of $50,000 - $65,000.
What You Will Do
• Advance event sponsorship sales for existing clients
• Drive the sales process from prospecting to cold calling to qualifying to pitching to deal close
• Build and maintain relationships with potential sponsors (brands and agencies)
• Create sales assets and presentations
• Manage the client relationship and own communications throughout the sales process
• Identify new potential clients and opportunities for the team
What You Will Need
• 1-3 years of experience in sales and business development
• Self-starter work style; able to learn new functions quickly and accurately; anticipate departmental needs and take proactive steps to follow through with proposed solutions or alternatives
• An understanding of entertainment and event industry trends
• Impeccable customer service skills and ability to manage multiple clients and projects at any given time
• Superb written and verbal communications skills and an always can-do attitude
• Remain calm under pressure and work well with various personality types
• Ability to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities
• Desire and capacity to operate in an incredibly fast-paced, multifaceted environment
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• College degree preferred
