Job Description
MediaLink, a UTA company, seeks a Manager to join our Business Development team in New York.

In this exciting new role as a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and managing a new center of excellence that will serve as a high velocity business development engine for the firm and contribute your perspective on how we drive growth for our business across the sectors of media, entertainment, marketing and technology.

As a Business Development Manager, you will apply analytical thinking and experience-based judgment to complex challenges by focusing on the critical issues that impact business development performance. You will be working across multiple projects and priorities, supporting the two business development COE leaders as they drive opportunities and revenue for MediaLink by advising internal teams and interacting with potential clients. You should have an interest in sales operations, business development, growth strategy and corporate partnerships.

The salary range for this role is $110,000 to $140,000 commensurate with experience and skills.

What You Will Do
• Lead operations for the business development COE including processes, coordination and communication under the guidance of its leaders
• Act as the point person for internal inquiries regarding the sales pipeline and active opportunities as well as business development support
• Assist with the development and implementation of MediaLink's sales strategy
• Manage the sales pipeline and prepare reports and presentations for meetings with MediaLink's Senior Leadership Team
• Support business development opportunities including research, briefs, proposals and pitch materials
• Join new business meetings (where relevant) and assist with follow-ups and next steps
• Provide input and collaborate with Marketing on sales collateral such as case studies and capabilities decks
• Identify new business opportunities to fuel the pipeline and develop an action plan to engage
• Assist with sponsorship sales at industry events where MediaLink has a presence (i.e. Consumer Electronics Show and Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity)
• Build professional relationships and grow your network of contacts in the pursuit of new prospective clients and high-impact opportunities

What You Will Need
• 4+ years of related work experience in media, advertising, sales and/or partnerships
• Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms is a plus
• Proven analytical skills, expertise in qualitative and quantitative research
• Strong business acumen and understanding of media/advertising/technology industry terms and trends
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skills
• Effective time management skills
• Organized with a strong attention to detail
