Who are we hiring?
The Associate Analyst Union Benefits is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the department's email, helpline and mailbox, which involves responding to individual employee questions and union requests. The Associate Analyst is also responsible for reviewing and auditing reports and systems ensuring accuracy; maintaining reporting requirements; overseeing departmental union invoicing; and program and plan audit support. Additionally, the Associate Analyst provides support for the overall benefits team.
What will you do?
• Monitor, update and correct retirement and health & welfare processing and payroll issues ensuring contract and system alignment; detect and investigate data issues; and adjust as needed.
• Support the Union Fringe Benefit remittance process
• Administer the day-to-day operation of the department's email, phone helpline, and mailbox
• Research and analysis of multiple Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) and Memorandum of Agreements (MOA).
• Interface with various departments maintaining confidential information and other information as required.
• Prepare and maintain reporting requirements
• Processes and reconciles department remittances
• Support and respond to internal and external audit and survey requests
What do you need to s/ucceed?
• 2+ years' experience in the Benefits/Retirement plan field with previous experience as a Benefits Administrator, Benefits Representative, or Benefits Coordinator desirable
• Prior knowledge of benefits administration and related laws and regulations recommended
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with extensive experience in Excel.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; demonstrated customer service experience and approach.
• Exceptional attention to accuracy and detail, with above average organizational skills, follow-up and problem-solving resolutions.
Pay Range
$57,000 - $80,000 USD
