THE JOB
The Director of Business Development & Strategy serves as a strategic and operational extension of the VP, acting as a right-hand partner to drive growth, operational excellence, and brand evolution across the Foundation Room portfolio. This role bridges business strategy with premium hospitality execution-connecting the dots between sales, operations, marketing, and member experience to ensure consistency, accountability, and innovation across all markets.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Strategic Leadership: Partner closely with the VP to define and execute the overarching vision and strategic roadmap for Foundation Room and related premium initiatives.
• Operational Excellence: Audit and refine end-to-end processes across membership sales, onboarding, event programming, and day-to-day operations to drive efficiency, alignment, and profitability.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (Operations, Marketing, Finance, VIP, Talent, and Membership) to deliver cohesive strategies that enhance both member experience and business performance.
• Business Development: Identify, evaluate, and activate new business opportunities, brand partnerships, and experiential collaborations that drive incremental revenue and deepen member engagement.
• Hospitality & Experience: Ensure every touchpoint within Foundation Room upholds the highest standards of premium hospitality-creating consistent, elevated experiences that reflect the brand's culture and values.
• Leadership & Culture: Act as a liaison between corporate leadership and field teams-building trust, alignment, and accountability while fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
