Job Description
THE ROLE
As the Analyst, Strategic Initiatives, you'll support data initiatives at Live Nation-dashboards, experiments, campaign readouts, and more. You'll partner with Live Nation Digital to monitor core web & app performance and trends, field surveys, and analyze results, and handle ad hoc analyses-always packaging concise, actionable recommendations. If you like to get deep into data, have a natural curiosity, and love working in a fast-paced environment, this may be the role for you.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Analytics
• Intake & scope open-ended asks into clear problem statements, data sources, and success criteria.
• Execute analyses with rigor (QA & validate inputs, reconcile sources, and document caveats).
• Build and maintain core dashboards and recurring readouts.
• Run data validation checks, reconcile sources, and flag anomalies; help maintain source-of-truth metric definitions
Research & Experiments
• Field and manage surveys and help explain the ''why''
• Help design and execute tests. Apply sound statistical methods and provide clear recommendations based on insights.
Live Nation Digital analytics (Livenation.com & Live Nation app)
• Monitor and report core performance/growth KPIs (traffic, conversion, revenue, retention).
• Work with product and engineering teams to conduct ad hoc analysis.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related subject preferred
• A Master's Degree in Analytics, Digital Marketing, or a related subject, nice to have but not required
• Must have at least 3–6 years in product/business analytics, data analysis, BI, or other data-related fields.
• Previous SQL and Python experience (or similar tools) for analysis and automation; advanced Excel required
• Experience building dashboards in a modern BI tool
• Detail-oriented, organized, critical thinker, and curious; able to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with high quality.
• Strong communication skills-able to simplify complex analysis and influence cross-functional partners.
• Passion for live music and the concert experience
• Candidate must be local to Los Angeles (or willing to relocate on their own expense) and comfortable coming onsite 4-5 days per week
